California Credentialed Educator in Math
Over ten years of teaching experience
My teaching philosophy emphasizes the development of a strong understanding of the fundamentals and key concepts.
At many math enrichment academies, while students are exposed to rigorous problem solving, the approaches adopted are often memorization of procedures rather than application of concepts. Moreover, these programs may not be well mapped to the school curriculum.
At Math Concepts Academy, students are exposed to a unique inquiry-based program that combines enrichment with skills necessary to excel in their school curriculum. Therefore, students will clearly see the improvement in their school grades while developing strong problem-solving skills. Unlike many math enrichment academies, at Math Concepts Academy the class sizes are small, ensuring strong student engagement and personal attention.
